Analysing a massive amount of classified user feedback without budget and no access to external tools

The Process

Step 1: Defining categories and tags
Using Excel, I created categories and corresponding tags to accurately capture different types of user feedback.
 

Step 2: Analysing
I used the category system I created to build a formula in Excel that analysed and visualised the feedback, highlighting the most common or challenging themes.

The Outcome

  • An internal tool for regular analysis of user feedback that can be easily maintained and updated by UX team members.
     

  • A user feedback report with a summary of the analysis results, findings and recommendations.
     

  • Presenting compelling evidence to support proposed focus areas.
